J.R. Alford Greenway 2500 Pedrick Road, Tallahassee
874 acres of open pasture and forested woodlands. There are 17.5 miles of multi-use trails and some single tracks that offer views of Lake Lafayette. There is a handicap accessible porta-potty along with water located at this trailhead. Please be advised – there is a railroad track along the southern boundary of the park.
Directions from I-10: Take Exit 209A and head west on Hwy 90. Continue on 90 about 1.5 miles. Turn left on Pedrick Rd. and continue to the end of Pedrick into the Greenway. Horse trailer parking is to the left and you must get out to open the gate. It is not locked. Please shut the gate behind you.
Directions from Capital Circle and Mahan Drive (Tallahassee): Take US 90 East (Mahan Drive) from Capital Circle Northeast for approximately 1 mile. Turn right on Buck Lake Road. Go for approximately 2 miles and turn right on Pedrick Road. Continue to the end of Pedrick Road into the Greenway. Horse trailer parking is to the left and you must get out to open the gate. It is not locked. Please shut the gate behind you.
