It is a 2 ½ to 3-hour ride through open fields, down shaded dirt roads and some single-tract trails. There are some large tree roots to traverse on the single tract-trails.

Directions:   Take I-10 to East Hwy 90, Exit 209 towards Tallahassee. Go approximately 1 mile and turn right on Thornton Road (just past the RV camp). Thornton Road will dead end. Parking is across the street on the left side.

Directions from Tallahassee: Go east on US 90 and take a left onto Thornton Road (will be before the I-10 interchange and the Publix shopping center). Thornton Road will dead end. Parking is across the street on the left side.
